Frequently asked questions
What exactly is the Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress and who would it suit best?
The Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress is an 11" mattress with three customizable layers of 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop latex, wrapped in an organic cotton cover and wool quilt. It suits sleepers who want adjustable firmness across base, middle, and top layers and who value natural materials and temperature regulation.
How does the three-layer setup influence comfort and support for different sleepers?
Three layers (4" base, 4" middle, 3" top) let you tailor firmness by layer. This allows a customized overall feel to balance deep support with surface comfort depending on sleeping position and body type.
What materials are used and what benefits do they offer for daily use?
Each latex layer is 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop latex, with an organic cotton cover and wool quilting. The organic materials support durability, natural flame resistance, and temperature regulation for comfort.
Is this mattress compatible with an adjustable bed base?
Yes, it is designed to be compatible with adjustable bed bases and can be paired with optional spruce/fir hardwood foundations for added support.
Are there dual firmness options and what sizes offer them?
Queen and King sizes offer dual firmness for personalized support on each side; other sizes follow the layered firmness setup selected for that configuration.
How should I set up the mattress to get the best initial comfort?
Choose the desired firmness for each layer (base, middle, top), ensure the latex layers are aligned and wrapped in organic cotton, and allow time for the layers to settle to your chosen feel after unboxing.
